I've never written a journal on here...But here is the first one ever and for the new year.
I'd like to thank my love, my best friend, and my muse, my girlfriend, Estrellita (a nickname--she knows who she is)
She's inspired me a lot artistically, including a very important portion of the personal mythos I have been drawing lately. Hey, sorry for the wait. I have been really busy lately. I've watched this video and...wow.
After being struck by how awful their situation was, and how the vast majority of the refugees are in neighboring countries, rather than Western countries, my second thought was "Oh, gods dammit, I didn't mean to make my sci-fi universe...relevant...somehow!"
